Her talk was a fascinating review of their partnership with the Environmental Working Group with the tagline “Think Pink, Live Green”. BRCA1 is no more a “cancer gene” than policemen are crime-inducers. They don’t cause cancer but if they aren’t policing the DNA, cancers will develop.
