In this study by Krishna et al in the Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, it was shows that yoga is associated with longer telomeres, lower inflammation, and less oxidative stress. I have long enjoyed doing yoga; the simple act of breathing, movement, and moving meditation seems to engage the holistic healing that we need.

Why not try it out? I prefer the hot Vinayasa type but I would stay away from Bikram because I haven’t had great experiences with the boot camp vibe and the smelly studios. There are many type of yoga and the only constants are breathing, focus, and ahimsa (non-violence) towards yourself
